Leasing Consultant Job Summary:

As the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • drafting, implementing, and executing successful marketing plans
  • achieving all leasing goals
  • maintaining a designated new lease closing ratio
  • maintaining a designated lease renewal ratio
  • organizing, executing, and participating in community events
  • assist in achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy.

Leasing Consultant Qualifications/Skills:

The ideal candidate must be:

  • self-motivated, personable, customer-service oriented, detailed, organized
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • maintain a professional appearance.

Leasing Consultant Requirements:

  • Previous leasing experience or strong sales background
  • Positive attitude and customer service focus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Skills in problem solving, judgement, and interpersonal relations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
